Introducing Automatic Updates on your Preferred Vendors - September 1, 2009

In response to feedback received from fleets using TruckDown.com we are pleased to announce the implementation of "Vendor Change Notices".

Vendor Change Notices advise TruckDown Advanced Fleet Administrators by email when contact information changes for one of their preferred vendors. This creates an opportunity for fleets to update internal vendor records when contact information such as a telephone number or address changes. The Notices also advise when a vendor is no longer actively listed in TruckDown.com.

TruckDown Advanced administrators can turn off these notices by editing their "My Profile" settings and changing "Vendor Change Notice" to "None".

Any vendor listing a TruckDown Advanced User assigns a Thumbs Up rating to is automatically included in the Vendor Change Notice system. Please note the email notices only go to the Fleet's Administrator. Many advanced user groups include 20 or more users so by design we have limited sending the notices to Fleet Administrators only.

Please use our Contact page if you have any questions about Vendor Change Notices.
